Join our #BrickBuildingBattle!

Get ready for an exciting challenge this September! From September 1st to 30th, 2024, we are hosting a fun activity as part of the Multiply Brick Building Challenge. Everyone is invited to join us in building some brilliant rainbow-themed creations using colourful bricks and Legos. Let’s see what you can create!

The Challenge

There are seven colours in a rainbow. Can you build a rainbow creation in under 15 minutes? Choose from:

  1. Rainbow Tower: Build a tower by alternating brick colours. How high can you make your tower in centimetres?
  1. Rainbow Monster: Create a colourful monster using rainbow bricks. How many bricks did you use to make your monster?
  1. Rainbow Bridge: Construct a bridge with rainbow bricks. How wide is your bridge in centimetres?

Pick one of these challenges, build your creation, and then measure it. After you finish building, take a photo of your masterpiece and record your answers.

If you fancy winning a Classic Lego Set, remember to email a photo of your creation along with the answer to the question of your chosen challenge to multiply@lincolnshire.gov.uk. Please also include an adult’s name, date of birth and postcode in your email.

The competition runs from 1st – 30th September. By participating, you can add a little extra fun to your plans, win a brilliant prize and practice your numeracy skills to boost your confidence with everyday maths!
